Divers may upgrade to enriched air for only $5 more per tank!

Not included: Travel to Maui (plus bag check fees), gear rental (other than tanks/weights as noted above), dive insurance (highly recommended), dive classes, any topside attraction fees, or any dive crew or hotel staff gratuities.

Saturday, April 9, 2011 - divers are responsible for any land excursion related travel and fees
Non-dive day (however, divers departing later on Saturday or extending their stay, may choose to dive on this day as well). Divers may also plan land excursions to local attractions such as a humpback whale watching (Dec-Apr marks their annual migration), biking down Maui's Haleakala volcano, canyon ziplining, windsurfing, kiteboarding, chopper rides, and more!

Diving
One 3-tank Boat dive day with Maui Dreams and 10-tanks punch card plus weights with Maui Dreams for shore diving. Nitrox upgrades available for $5 more per tank. Additional dive day upgrades available as noted below. December - April is also the season for possible Humpback Whale sightings around Maui! (please be reminded crew gratuity is not included in the price of the trip. Let your crew know they have done a good job with a tip.)

Dining - divers should plan on providing for meals and beverages
Sugar Beach Resort, our lodging, features condominiums so each unit is equipped with full kitchens so divers may either plan meals in shopping at local groceries or eat out exploring local Hawaiian cuisine.

Lodging
Trip price includes 7 nights d/o lodging in condominiums at Sugar Beach Resort. Single rooms available for an upgrade charge (call for pricing). Sugar Beach Resort is located at the base of the West Maui Mountains, right on the shore of beautiful Maalaea Bay. The resort is somewhat secluded between Kihei and the village of Maalaea which provides a perfect balance of oceanfront activities and atmosphere, as well as stunning views of both Haleakala and the West Maui Mountains.

Travel
Divers are responsible for travel to and from Maui. Rental vehicles will be picked up at the airport allowing divers easy travel to Sugar Beach Resort.

Nonstop R/T tickets are currently starting at $763 (PDX to/from OGG, Kahului airport). Flight suggestion below.
